Sklad kmetijskih zemljišč in gozdov Republike Slovenije – Farmland and Forest Fund of the Republic of Slovenia
Farmland and Forest Fund of the Republic of Slovenia (Fund) is state-owned public organisation founded in 1993. The Fund is entrusted with the management and supervison of farmland and farms owned by the state. It buys agricultural land and forests and also sells small agricultural plots owned by state. The Fund is obligated to return the agricultural land and forests to beneficiaries in denationalization procedures. At managment with state owned agricultural land the Fund pursues sustainable and economically justified management. It has to at least maintaint the exsting range of state agricultural land, improve size structure and reduce agricultural land fragmentation. It also strives to improve food self-sufficiency.
