State Specialized Forest Enterprise “Forests of Ukraine”

SE “Forests of Ukraine” is a state-owned enterprise responsible for  protection, conservation, afforestation, reforestation and a broad range of other functions, including timber harvesting and sales. Priorities of the State Enterprise “”Forests of Ukraine””, include, but are not limited to preservation and enhancement of forest ecosystems, providing resources to all stakeholders and securing regeneration.

The structure of the SE “Forests of Ukraine” composes of one central office, with 9 regional offices (+1 office in the temporarily occupied Crimea). Within the organization there are 148 branches, of which 83 branches are FSC certified.
