Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha is the body that organises the government of the Autonomous Community of Castilla-La Mancha (Spain). Currently, the Regional Government’s Department of Sustainable Development is responsible for proposing and implementing the directives of the Governing Council on environmental and forestry policy. And within the structure of this Regional Ministry is the General Directorate of Natural Environment and Biodiversity, which is in charge of forest management.
Our goal is to ensure all forestry operations in Castilla-La Mancha are carried out under updated forest management plans, monitoring, surveillance practices and tools as well as meeting globally recognized certification standards (FSC, PEFC, etc.) to satisfy stakeholders expectations and a sustainable market demand.
