The EC is celebrating the Natura 2000 Day with Bioblitz Events

As Natura 2000 Day (21 May) approaches, the European Commission invites all Member States and stakeholders to celebrate by organising or supporting Bioblitz events in Natura 2000 sites!

A Bioblitz is a hands-on biodiversity discovery event where citizens, scientists and nature lovers join forces to record as many species as possible in a short time.

These events offer a great way to raise awareness and appreciation of the Natura 2000 network among the general public.
