FOREST EUROPE published the State of Europe’s Forests 2020 Report

FOREST EUROPE Liaison Unit Bratislava published the State of Europe’s Forests 2020 report. The report provides comprehensive information on the status and trends in forests and forestry in our region, based on the pan-European criteria for sustainable forest management. For the first time, in Part II, the report also provides a brief overview on forests and forestry in individual countries.

The report is complemented by annex tables containing information on indicators by individual countries.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The State of Europe’s Forests 2020 report is a result of cooperation with numerous experts, governments, as well as international organizations. The information compiled in the report will serve for a broad range of users and provide support to decision-making processes related to forests and their management.

The State of Europe’s Forests 2020 report, is accompanied by a Summary for Policy Makers which provide a brief overview of main outcomes of the report.

These main outcomes are also presented in a 5-min video presented during the 8th Ministerial Conference in Bratislava in April 2021.
