European forests – prosperous and healthy or in critical conditions?

Ahead of the publication of the EU forest strategy, to take place before the summer, CEPI and the Swedish Forest Industries Federation (SFIF) aim at opening a frank and fact-based discussion on the current state of European forests and the multiple roles that forests can play to achieve the Green Deal objectives. The online event will be streamed via MS Teams on Tuesday 4 May 2021 from 10.00 to 11.30 CET.

Kristjan Tonisson, member of the management board of State Forests of Estonia (RMK), will be part of the discussion on “Climate Smart Forestry in practice – testimonies from forest owners” from 10.15 to 10.40.
