FAO donors’ conference in support of the Ukrainian forestry sector

The first donor conference held in hybrid mode in Kyiv, Ukraine, on 14 December 2023 turned out to be a great success. Despite the difficult conditions, the conference was attended by nearly 40 people in person and nearly 50 more connected online.

With these positive results in mind, FAO has organized the next donors conference, organised with the technical and economic support of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN, that will be held in Prague, thanks to the generous hospitality of the Government of the Czech Republic.

The event will be held on 26 and 27 March 2024.

The concept note of the meeting and its agenda will be communicated in due course. The report of the first conference held in Kyiv last December is being prepared and will be sent as soon as possible, as it will serve as a basis for discussion at the Prague conference.
