How “Close-to-Nature” Is the Management of European Forests?

We would like to invite you to the webinar How “Close-to-Nature” Is the Management of European Forests?, organized by the Confederation of European Forest Owners (CEPF) and the European State Forest Association (EUSTAFOR). The event will take place online on Thursday10 March 2022 (10:00 – 12:30).

To contribute to the ongoing discussion, European forest owners and managers would like to support a balanced expert debate on pros, cons and possible consequences of new management approaches for European forests, namely:

  1. Options for “closer-to-nature” forest management practices;
  2. Active protection or passive conservation – determining which is the best strategy for the future.To register, please visit: https://form.jotform.com/220521908181046. Kindly note that registration will be closed on 8 March.

Biographies of the speakers are available here.
