Forest Innovation Workshop: Inform-prioritize-collaborate: Cooperation of regions on innovation in forest management, use of wood and forest-related services
Venue: Sant’Apollonia Auditorium – Via San Gallo 25, Firenze, Italia
The Forest Innovation Workshop is a biennial European initiative which promotes networking and exchanges among regions and the community of forestry and wood industry innovators and actors.
It focuses on the following four thematic areas:
a. Managing Impacts related to Climate Change;
b. Supporting Wood and Biomass Mobilization;
c. Supporting the Provision of Ecosystem Services;
d. Improving Sustainable Forest Management Approaches and Tools.
The 2020 workshop edition will be hosted by the ROSEWOOD Network, a Horizon 2020 funded Coordination and Support Action which main target is the enhancement of sustainable wood mobilisation through inter-regional knowledge transfer.
