USSE event: “What forest model do we want in Europe?”

USSE, the Union of Foresters of Southern Europe, is organizing a public event together with the Basque government, which will place on 14 March 2024 in San Sebastian, Spain.

The event will bring together experts and political representatives responsible for forest policy from different regions/countries in Europe to discuss and debate the forest model desired for Europe, taking into account the specificities of each region or country as well as all recent European initiatives and legislation that directly or indirectly affect forests, and all this in the current complex context of climate crisis. Franz Thoma from Bayerische Staatsforsten will be part of the first Round Table.
