Scientific-Technical Symposium “Assessing Forest Damage and Disturbance”

Hosted by the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna (Austria), the institutions of UNECE, FAO and the Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Regions and Tourism will jointly organize an event about the Scientific-Technical Symposium “Assessing Forest Damage and Disturbance”. The event will take place on 28-30 September 2022 and it will be possible to participate both online or physically.

The event is related to a project initiated by the UNECE/FAO Team of Specialists on Monitoring Sustainable Forest Management. The purpose of the symposium is to encourage the exchange of knowledge, discuss the results of the project, raise awareness on the assessment of forest damages and disturbance, and prepare a common ground for future collaboration.

To participate in the event in person, the registration deadline is 30 June 2022. The deadline to register for virtual participation is 23 September 2022.
