Integrate webinar: Promoting the integration of nature conservation into sustainable forest management at the policy, practice and research level

The seminar, facilitated by the European Forest Institute (EFI), offers an opportunity to explore and discuss policy visions on the role of forests in the EU Green Deal.

Questions to be discussed include:

• ​What approach should Europe take/implement on forests in the Green Deal?
• How to deal with key issues such as climate change, biodiversity, bioeconomy and societal expectations, and also trade-offs between these issues when it comes to integrated forest management?
• What is the impact of Covid on the Green Deal in relation to forests? What needs to be done?
• What is the role of integrated forest management approaches that aim to integrate forest use and conservation in European policy?
