Regional Challenges for European Forest-based Sector Coherence

FTP and the Romanian FTP National Support Group invite you to attend an FTP regional conference that aims to address the regional challenges for the coherence of the European forest-based sector.

The conference will take place in Braşov, Romania, a multicultural centre, situated at the intersection of Oriental, Boreal, Central European and Mediterranean influences. It will bring together forest experts, in a meeting to assess the regional challenges and possible common action synergies for better coherence within the European forest-based sector.

The participants will discuss how different regions can contribute to achieving the development of the sector, in the light of the Vision 2040 of the forest-based sector in Europe and how common expertise can be used in the wider context of European socio-economic coherence – one of the declared objectives of the current presidency of the Council of the European Union.
