The objective of the workshop is to develop a common understanding of the analytical framework to be used for assessing ecosystem condition including relevant indicators to support the implementation of the EU Biodiversity Strategy to 2020 and mainstreaming biodiversity in other EU policies.
The workshop will be interactive and focus on the outcomes of the MAES work on ecosystem condition related to nature, forest, agriculture, marine, freshwater, urban and soil. It will provide an opportunity for Member States to share their experiences. The workshop is aimed at experts in ecosystem assessment as well as policy- and decision-makers to ensure the policy relevance of the framework.
