SoEF webinar – Forest health and vitality
To enable exploration of the indicators and data presented in the SoEF 2025 report, a series of monthly lunchtime webinars will be organised, starting on 21 April with a session on Forest health & vitality.
Forest damage is increasing across Europe, raising important questions about the risks, underlying drivers, and the policy responses needed to address them.
Building on the findings of the State of Europe’s Forests 2025 report (SoEF 2025), this webinar will explore rising forest damage in Europe and discuss how these challenges can be managed and prevented.
Experts from Czechia, Portugal, and Scotland will present case studies from their respective countries. Dr Roman Michalak, Economic Affairs Officer at the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), will be the keynote speaker introducing the topic. The webinar will be moderated by Silvia Abruscato from FoRISK.
