SUPERB Synthesis Webinar – SUPERB Results for SUPERB Associate Partners, subcontractors, and their networks

The SUPERB webinar on Friday, November 14th, from 9:00 to 12:30 will present the latest results to SUPERB Associate Partners, subcontractors, and their networks.

This event brings together leading experts from EFI, INIA-CISIC, CTFC, University of Freiburg, Wageningen University & Research, WSL, Prospex Institute, University of Oxford, University of Copenhagen, Future Arc and Polish State Forests to discuss the evolution of forest restoration in Europe, innovative restoration methods, and the impacts on carbon, biodiversity, and wood provision. Furthermore, the event will explore societal perceptions of forest restoration across Europe and the crucial role of stakeholder engagement. 

Additional highlights include discussions on biodiversity credits, nature markets, the Restoration Marketplace, and the Forest Knowledge Gateway, offering valuable insights for landowners, practitioners, advisors, policymakers and funders alike.

We will hear about a restoration case study provided the Polish State Forests, a EUSTAFOR member – it will be a good illustration of how state forests exercise restoration action but also a great input to EUSTAFOR’s contribution to this project.
