1st Consultation for the FTP SIRA Update still open & new FTP feature available
Consultation
FTP, the Forest-based Technology Platform, has officially launched the 1st Open Consultation for the FTP SIRA Update. FTP has now begun the process of updating its core strategic documents — the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SIRA) and the Vision — with the updated versions, Vision & SIRA 2040, scheduled for publication in 2027.
To ensure these documents reflect today’s priorities and challenges across the forest-based sector, FTP is gathering input from a wide range of stakeholders. A short presentation providing context and background is available at the beginning of the consultation form. As founding members of FTP, we have been asked to give feedback to the consultation and if we could disseminate it to our members. Your input will greatly help with setting the agenda for the coming years, and indirectly influence the allocation of funds to the forest sector.

The questionnaire has been kept relatively short to encourage participation and will be open until 30 June 2025. If you need any additional information or material to help promote this consultation, please don’t hesitate to reach out to sophie.hugon@forestplatform.org.
