Eustafor Contributes to the Reopening of Parc de la Jeunesse in Schaerbeek
On 30 May 2026, the Municipality of Schaerbeek will officially reopen and inaugurate the newly redesigned Parc de la Jeunesse, a revitalised public green space created for children, teenagers, and families to enjoy.
The event will bring together local residents, organisations, and partners for an afternoon of celebrations and activities, including entertainment for young people and the discovery of the park’s new facilities. The renovated park now features three dedicated recreational zones, including playgrounds for small children, cycling and skating areas, and an aerial adventure course designed for older children and teenagers.
As part of its 20th anniversary celebrations, Eustafor proudly supported this initiative through the co-financing of public tables installed in the park. This contribution reflects Eustafor’s commitment to promoting accessible, inclusive, and sustainable green spaces that connect people with nature and strengthen the social value of forests and urban greenery.
The collaboration also highlights the important role that public organisations and forest-related stakeholders can play in supporting community wellbeing and creating welcoming outdoor spaces for future generations.
Eustafor is pleased to contribute to this local initiative as part of its broader anniversary activities celebrating 20 years of cooperation among Europe’s State Forest Management Organisations and their shared commitment to sustainable forest management and public value.
